## Pros

- The mop gets dried-on stains like tea and hot sauce off the floor (Tom's Guide, https://www.tomsguide.com/home/smart-home/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-robot-vacuum-review)
- Strong suction, and its light shows up dust you would otherwise miss (Tom's Guide, https://www.tomsguide.com/home/smart-home/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-robot-vacuum-review)
- The self-emptying dock is bagless, so there are no bags to buy (Tom's Guide, https://www.tomsguide.com/home/smart-home/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-robot-vacuum-review)
- Keeps its mop roller so clean it still looked new after months (TechRadar, https://www.techradar.com/home/robot-vacuums/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-review)
- Steers around cables, slippers and socks without getting caught (TechRadar, https://www.techradar.com/home/robot-vacuums/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-review)
- Cleans hard floors well and slows its brushes so crumbs are not flung away (TechRadar, https://www.techradar.com/home/robot-vacuums/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-review)
- The bagless dock pulled out a big load of pet hair and stayed dry inside (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/dyson-spotscrub-ai-review/)
- Avoided most obstacles in testing, impressive for Dyson's first system of its kind (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/dyson-spotscrub-ai-review/)
- The roller mop removes dried stains a little better than the average robot (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/dyson-spotscrub-ai-review/)

## Cons

- Robot and dock are very large and take up a lot of floor space (Tom's Guide, https://www.tomsguide.com/home/smart-home/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-robot-vacuum-review)
- The dock dries the mop roller for hours with an annoying hum (Tom's Guide, https://www.tomsguide.com/home/smart-home/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-robot-vacuum-review)
- Sometimes leaves whole areas out, such as under the dining table (Tom's Guide, https://www.tomsguide.com/home/smart-home/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-robot-vacuum-review)
- Emptying into the dock sometimes failed, leaving the robot's bin overflowing (TechRadar, https://www.techradar.com/home/robot-vacuums/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-review)
- Loud in every mode, even the quiet one carries a couple of rooms away (TechRadar, https://www.techradar.com/home/robot-vacuums/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-review)
- Zone cleaning missed the mess, and driving back onto the dock often took retries (TechRadar, https://www.techradar.com/home/robot-vacuums/dyson-spot-scrub-ai-review)
- Works through a room slowly, so runs take longer than on most robots (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/dyson-spotscrub-ai-review/)
- Long hair wraps around the main brush more than on most robots (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/dyson-spotscrub-ai-review/)
- The tall robot had trouble getting under furniture and into tight gaps (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/dyson-spotscrub-ai-review/)
