What to expect from the Ecovacs Deebot T90 Omni

The Ecovacs Deebot T90 Omni is an all-in-one robot built around the OZMO Roller 3.0: a 10.6-inch roller mop that rinses itself continuously while it mops and moves out by up to 0.6 inches along baseboards. It has 30,000 Pa of suction, a ZeroTwist main brush built against hair wrap, obstacle recognition with Ecovacs' AIVI 3D 4.0 camera system, and TruePass, two extra lever wheels that lift it over single thresholds of up to 0.9 inches. The station empties the bin, washes the roller with fresh water of up to 167 °F and dries it.

On paper it has a lot in common with the T90 Pro Omni, which Vacuum Wars tested and named its best-value pick: the same 30,000 Pa, a self-rinsing roller and a wash of up to 167 °F. Our specifications show the TruePass climbing wheels on the T90 Omni and not on the Pro Omni, whose lidar sits inside the body instead.

None of our test sources has measured the T90 Omni itself, and the Pro Omni's results do not automatically apply to it. Our specifications list no bag size, battery or run time, and do not say whether the station dries with hot air or doses detergent. At 3.7 inches it is of ordinary height. Anyone choosing between the two should compare prices, since the T90 Pro Omni is the safer buy on the evidence so far.
