What testers say about the eufy RoboVac 11S
The eufy RoboVac 11S is a simple, slim robot vacuum: 2.8 inches tall, so it gets under low sofas and beds, with 1,300 Pa of suction, BoostIQ, which raises the power by itself where more is needed, three power levels, two side brushes and a battery eufy rates at up to 100 minutes on standard power. There is no app, no Wi-Fi and no voice control: you start, schedule and steer it with the remote, and it covers a room at random rather than from a map.
TechRadar found it effective on hard floors, where oats and fine flour dust came up with ease, picked up oats from medium-pile carpet as well, and saw it run for 105 minutes on standard power, a little longer than eufy promises, at only 55 decibels. Tom's Guide measured 100 percent of the cereal on hardwood and carpet and 90 percent of the kitty litter, and named it its favorite budget robot after the test. In Vacuum Wars' match-up with the Roomba 694 it picked up fine to extra-large debris as well as the Roomba, with more suction and airflow, which showed in a much better score for dirt in crevices. RTINGS calls it fairly well built, with a decent bin and excellent battery life.
Carpet and hair are its weak spots. Fine dust trodden into carpet stayed there even on the highest setting at TechRadar, it scored 70 out of 100 in Vacuum Wars' carpet deep-clean test against 86 for the Roomba 694, it picked up only 67.5 percent of the dog hair at Tom's Guide, and hair wraps around the brush. Whether it gets stuck depends on the home: Vacuum Wars describes it as a robot that tends not to, while Tom's Guide saw it stall on a shag rug and on rug corners that were not flat and would not leave it to clean unsupervised, and low obstacles such as deep-pile rugs and pet bowls caught it out at TechRadar. It gives no alert when the bin is full, and RTINGS found it hard to maintain, with many parts to replace. For hard floors or flat low-pile carpet and a buyer who wants a low, basic robot without an app, it is simple and affordable. With pets or rugs, a robot that maps the home is the better buy.
