The iRobot Roomba 105 Vac is a vacuum-only Roomba from iRobot's entry range: ClearView lidar maps the home so it cleans in neat rows, a three-stage cleaning system with a multi-surface brush and an edge-sweeping brush does the work, and it sends itself back to its dock to recharge and then carries on where it stopped. The app sets schedules per room, suction levels, the number of passes and keep-out zones, a spot mode cleans one area for up to five minutes, and it works with Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.
On paper it matches the Roomba 104 Vac feature for feature: the same lidar, the same brushes, the same claim of 70 times the suction of iRobot's 600 series and the same app functions, and the listing names nothing that sets the two apart beyond a more polished look. The Roomba 105 Vac+ is this robot with an AutoEmpty dock, and the 105 Combo adds a mop.
