## Frequently asked questions about the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra with Refill & Drainage System

**Does the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra with Refill & Drainage System empty its own dust bin?**

Yes. The station empties the robot’s dust bin after every run. The dust bag in the station lasts up to 49 days, the maker says.

**Does the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra with Refill & Drainage System wash and dry its own mop?**

Yes. The station washes the mop itself, with water at 140 °F (60 °C). It then dries the mop with warm air.

**Does the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra with Refill & Drainage System work with Alexa, Google Home or Siri?**

It works with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. It does not support Matter. Home Assistant has an official integration for this model.

**How high a threshold can the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra with Refill & Drainage System climb?**

Thresholds up to 0.8 in (20 mm), the maker says. It has no climbing system for higher thresholds. Measure your own thresholds: the ones to a bathroom or balcony are often higher.

**Does the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra with Refill & Drainage System fit under low furniture?**

The robot is 4.1 in (10.3 cm) tall, so it fits under furniture with at least 4.1 in of clearance.

**Is the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra with Refill & Drainage System suitable for pet hair?**

The maker does not say so, and it lacks a brush that hair does not wind around or a station that empties the bin.
