## The testers’ picks

- Vacuum Wars: Position 70 of 151 (list as of September 26, 2026), https://vacuumwars.com/vacuum-wars-best-robot-vacuums/

## Pros

- Vibrating mop lifts over rugs, so it vacuums and mops in one run (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/roborock-s8-plus-vs-q8-max-plus-review/)
- Steers around clutter better than most robots, with a light for dark corners (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/roborock-s8-plus-vs-q8-max-plus-review/)
- Gets embedded sand out of carpet far better than the typical robot (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/roborock-s8-plus-vs-q8-max-plus-review/)

## Cons

- The dock empties the bin, but you still wash the mop pad yourself (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/roborock-s8-plus-vs-q8-max-plus-review/)
- Long human hair still tends to collect around the rollers (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/roborock-s8-plus-vs-q8-max-plus-review/)
- Battery efficiency was only average next to the Q8 Max+ (Vacuum Wars, https://vacuumwars.com/roborock-s8-plus-vs-q8-max-plus-review/)
