Amazon.com What to expect from the iRobot Roomba Max 715 Vac+
The iRobot Roomba Max 715 Vac+ is the vacuum-only Roomba of iRobot's 2026 Max range, sold with an AutoEmpty dock: 30,000 Pa of suction with Carpet Boost, anti-tangle rubber brushes and an anti-tangle side brush, ClearView Pro lidar that builds 3D maps, and PrecisionVision AI, iRobot's camera system that recognizes cords, socks, shoes and pet waste and steers around them. The dock empties the bin into an odor-control AllergenLock bag for up to 90 days. On Amazon.com it is also sold as the Max 715 Pet and the Max 715X Pet.
On paper it is the successor to the Max 705 Vac+: iRobot compares it with that model when it lists the upgrades, the higher suction, the improved anti-tangle brushes, the odor-control bags and a dock that lasts 90 days instead of 75. Its 6,000 mAh battery uses LFP cells, the app stores up to five maps, and iRobot says a first map takes nine minutes.
None of our test sources has measured it yet, so how well it vacuums and how reliably the camera avoids pet waste is still unknown. Our specifications list no run time or bag size. Anyone who would rather buy on test results can look at the Roomba j7+, an older Roomba with iRobot's PrecisionVision camera that avoided every piece of fake pet waste in Vacuum Wars' test.
