For anyone wanting vacuuming, mopping with swappable pads and high thresholds in one robot, this is one of the best-tested models of the year.
The MOVA Mobius 60 is a flagship with a station that swaps automatically between three kinds of mop pads, one for kitchen grease, a soft one for wooden floors and an all-rounder, and washes the pads in boiling-hot water, sanitises them with UV and dries them along with the dust bag. The robot has retractable legs for thresholds up to eight centimetres, a retractable lidar, an extending side brush and an extending mop. Vacuum Wars ranks it 3rd of 20.
In the tests it lifted 88 percent of the embedded sand out of carpet, one of the highest scores on record, and 94 percent of the pressed-in pet hair against an 81 average, both better than the pricier Dreame Matrix10 Ultra Vacuum Wars compared it with. A flap that drops on carpet half-seals the intake and raises suction there, which showed in crevices too. The split main brush channels hair to one side, and the side brush extends for corners.
The reservations are limited: the station is big, the 3.2-litre bag is rated for only about a month of daily use, and it recognises obstacles with 3D structured light rather than a camera, which is less certain with socks and cables. There is no water-line hookup.

From the published dimensions. The robot passes under furniture with 9 cm of clearance or more. The dock needs a spot 42 cm wide and 47 cm deep.
Suction and brushes4 facts
Suction power
Suction in pascal, as the maker measures it. More pascal helps on carpet, but it says little about how well the robot picks grit off a hard floor.
30,000 Pa
Anti-tangle brush
A brush that guides hair to the side instead of letting it wind around the shaft. It saves the cutting work in homes with long hair or pets.
yes
Extending side brush
The side brush swings out in a corner or along a kickboard, so the dust there is swept in too.
yes
Suitable for pet hair
Whether the robot copes with pet hair: a brush that hair does not wind around and a dock that empties the bin for you. Where the maker does not say so itself, we read it from those two.
yes
Mopping6 facts
Mop type
How the mop is built: flat pads, two spinning discs or a roller. Discs press harder on dried-on dirt, a roller rinses itself while it works.
spinning pads
Mop lift on carpet
How far the robot lifts the mop when it drives onto a carpet. From about 10 mm a medium pile stays dry.
10.5 mm
Mop extends to the edges
The pad slides out along a wall or a kickboard, so the last few centimetres are mopped as well.
yes
Automatic mop detach
The robot leaves the mop at the dock before it vacuums a carpet, so the carpet never gets wet.
yes
Mop refreshed while mopping
The robot returns to the dock during a run to rinse the mop, instead of pushing dirty water around.
no
Water tank in the robot
How much clean water the robot carries. It sets how long it mops before a refill, which a dock does by itself.
70 ml
Dock13 facts
Empties the dust bin
The dock empties the robot’s dust bin, usually after every run. You only empty the dock’s bag or bin. On this model: the bag sits in the station.
yes
Bagless
The dock collects dust in a bin instead of a disposable bag. No bags to buy, but you empty it yourself.
no
Dust bag capacity
How much the dust bag in the dock holds.
3.2 l
Dust bag lasts
How long the maker says a dust bag lasts with daily use. With pets or a lot of carpet it is shorter. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
up to 30 days
Washes the mop
The dock washes the mop for you, so you do not rinse it by hand.
yes
Wash temperature
How hot the dock washes the mop. Above 60 °C grease comes off, which is what keeps a mop from smelling. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
100 °C
Dries the mop
The dock dries the mop afterwards, so it does not sit there wet and start to smell.
yes
Hot-air drying
Drying is done with warm air instead of cold. It is faster and it helps against smell.
yes
Dispenses detergent
The dock mixes detergent into the water itself, from its own bottle.
yes
Plumbing hookup
The dock can be connected to the tap and the drain, so you never fill or empty a tank. It does need a connection nearby.
no
Clean water tank
The clean water tank in the dock, which wets the mop.
5.5 l
Dirty water tank
The tank that catches the dirty water from the mop. You empty this one yourself.
4 l
Dock size (w × d × h)
The width, depth and height of the dock. Measure the spot you have in mind, and leave room for the lid and for the robot driving in.
41.6 × 46.7 × 58.9 cm
Navigation and obstacles5 facts
Navigation
How the robot maps your home and follows that map. Lidar measures with a laser and works in the dark, a camera looks along and recognises more.
retractable LiDAR
Obstacle avoidance
How the robot sees loose things on the floor, such as cables, socks or a pet accident. A camera with depth sensing sees more than a bumper that reacts on contact. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
3D sensor (structured light)
Climbs thresholds up to
The highest threshold the robot takes, as the maker states it. Measure your own: the step into a bathroom or onto a balcony is often higher.
50 mm
Double threshold (two steps together)
Two steps close together, such as a threshold with a sliding-door track behind it: their combined height, as the maker measures it. Each brand measures with a different gap between the steps, so compare this figure across brands with care. For a single step, the threshold above applies.
80 mm
Climbing system for high thresholds
An extending leg or wheel that carries the robot over a high threshold. Without one it usually stops at about 2 cm. On this model: derived from the threshold height the maker states.
yes
Robot4 facts
Robot height
How tall the robot is. It decides whether it fits under your sofa, bed or cabinet.
9 cm
Robot diameter
How wide the robot is. Narrower gets between chair legs more easily, wider usually means a bigger dust bin.
35 cm
Dust bin in the robot
How much dust the robot holds before you empty it. It matters less with an auto-empty dock, which empties the bin after every run.
300 ml
Noise
The noise in decibels, in the setting its source names: makers mostly give the standard setting, shops often the highest. 65 dB is like a vacuum at half power, 55 dB like a conversation. On this model: maximum noise level according to Coolblue.
71 dB
Battery2 facts
Battery capacity
The capacity of the battery. It hints at the runtime, but how much the robot draws counts just as much.
6,400 mAh
Runtime per charge
How long the robot cleans on one charge, at its quietest setting. After that it recharges and carries on where it stopped.
205 min
Smart features and warranty3 facts
Matter
Matter is the standard that lets devices from different makers work together. With it you can run the robot outside the maker’s own app. On this model: the maker names this feature nowhere on the product page, so we take it as no.
no
Voice assistants
Which voice assistants the robot works with, such as Google Assistant or Alexa.
built-in voice assistant ('Hé, MOVA'); third-party assistants not named
Warranty
The warranty the maker gives in the Netherlands. Consumer law here stands apart from it and can last longer.
Frequently asked questions about the MOVA Mobius 60
1
Does the MOVA Mobius 60 empty its own dust bin?
Yes. The station empties the robot’s dust bin after every run. The 3.2 l dust bag in the station lasts up to 30 days, the maker says.
2
Does the MOVA Mobius 60 wash and dry its own mop?
Yes. The station washes the mop itself, with water at 100 °C. It then dries the mop with warm air.
3
Does the MOVA Mobius 60 work with Alexa, Google Home or Siri?
It has a voice assistant of its own on board. Whether it also works with Alexa, Google Home or Siri, the maker does not say. It does not support Matter.
4
How high a threshold can the MOVA Mobius 60 climb?
Thresholds up to 50 mm, the maker says. With its climbing system it also takes two steps close together, up to 80 mm in all. Measure your own thresholds: the ones to a bathroom or balcony are often higher.
5
Does the MOVA Mobius 60 fit under low furniture?
The robot is 9 cm tall, so it fits under furniture with at least 9 cm of clearance. Its lidar turret retracts where space is tight.
6
Is the MOVA Mobius 60 suitable for pet hair?
Yes, the maker says. The brush guides hair to the side instead of winding it round the roller.
