What testers say about the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 ProX
The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 ProX is a version of the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro: the same robot with 25,000 Pa of suction, a retractable lidar at 79 millimetres tall, legs for thresholds up to four centimetres, two spinning mop pads that detach automatically and lift 15 millimetres on carpet, an extending mop pad and side brush, camera-based obstacle recognition and a station that washes in 100-degree water and dries with hot air. How else the X version differs, Roborock does not make clear.
TechRadar tested the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro and calls it a powerhouse that excels on carpet in particular: strong suction, rock-solid navigation, the retracting puck that takes it under low furniture, the stilts for tall thresholds and an excellent app; mopping is decent for everyday use.
TechRadar's criticism: recognition of small obstacles is merely average, spinning pads can smear large spills and the station doses no detergent. In the Netherlands this X version is sold by one shop and is currently a lot dearer than the regular Curv 2 Pro; compare both prices before choosing.
