Which Roborock should you buy? Every series explained
Roborock sorts its robots into five families: Saros, Qrevo Curv, Qrevo Edge, Qrevo and Q, plus an older S series. The best-placed Roborock on sale today in our ranking is Roborock Saros 20 Flow, place 1 of 158.
Which Roborock series are there?
On its own page Roborock sorts its robot vacuums into families, and each family names the models in it. The figures in the table are Roborock’s own. Read on October 25, 2026.
| Series | Examples | What Roborock states |
|---|---|---|
| Saros | Saros 20, Saros 20 Sonic, Saros 20 Flow, Saros 10, Saros 10R, Saros Z70 | The first family on Roborock’s page. The Saros 20 has 36,000 Pa of suction and the Saros Z70 a foldable mechanical arm. |
| Qrevo Curv | Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, Qrevo CurvX, Qrevo Curv, Qrevo Curv S5X | Suction from 18,500 Pa (Qrevo Curv) to 22,000 Pa (Qrevo CurvX), an AdaptiLift chassis and a dual anti-tangle system. |
| Qrevo Edge | Qrevo Edge 2, Qrevo Edge S5A | The Qrevo Edge 2 has 25,000 Pa of suction and an ultra-slim body of 3.1 in. |

| Q | Q10 S5+, Q7 Max+, Q7 M5, Q7 L5, Q5 Pro | 10,000 Pa of suction for the Q10 and Q7 series. For the Q10, Q7 and Q5 Pro, Roborock names auto dust emptying. |

How do the series differ?
Four things on Roborock’s page change from family to family:
- Suction. From 10,000 Pa for the Q series and the Qrevo Master to 36,000 Pa for the Saros 20. More pascal says something about the motor, not about how clean the floor gets. Our ranking rests on tests, not on this number.
- Height. Roborock gives 3.1 in for the Saros 10, the Saros 10R, the Qrevo CurvX and the Qrevo Edge 2, among others, and 3.2 in for the Qrevo Slim. That matters if the robot has to go under a low cabinet or sofa.
- Mopping. The Saros 20 Flow and the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow have the SpiraFlow system, which cleans the mop while it works.
- The dock. The Q series empties its own dust bin, the Qrevo families have a multifunctional dock. Which dock a model has is on that model’s own page.
