Hoover dates from 1908, when William Hoover bought the patent for an electric suction sweeper and began making it. Its air purifier was the H Purifier 500, controlled with the hOn app, with a clean air delivery rate of 330 m³/h, sensors for PM10, PM2.5 and VOC and a three layer filter of prefilter, HEPA H13 and activated carbon.
