What to expect from the Bosch Spotless 2
The Bosch Spotless 2 is Bosch's vacuum-and-mop robot with an all-in-one station: 25,000 Pa of suction from a TurboSpin motor with a ten-year warranty, an anti-tangle brush, two spinning mop pads of which one extends to within two millimetres of walls and three centimetres into corners, pads that lift two centimetres on carpet, lidar navigation, obstacle recognition with structured light, Matter and the Home Connect app. The station empties the bin into a three-litre bag, washes the pads in 75-degree water, dries with hot air, doses detergent and has four-litre clean and dirty water tanks. The 5,700 mAh battery is generous.
For a European brand the equipment is complete and on the level of the Asian mid-range, with the motor warranty and the Home Connect integration as extras Dreame and Roborock do not offer. The two-centimetre mop lift is more than most rivals.
The limits: the side brush does not extend, the pads do not stay behind in the station automatically, there is no water connection, thresholds stop at two centimetres and at 101 millimetres the robot is not low. None of our test sources has measured the Spotless 2, and the Dutch price is often above the foreign one. Anyone wanting a European brand with a long warranty finds the complete package here; anyone buying on test results should compare with the Dreame L50 and Roborock Qrevo.
