What to expect from the Ecovacs Deebot T50 Pro Omni Gen 2
The Ecovacs Deebot T50 Pro Omni Gen 2 is a slim mid-range robot: 81 millimetres tall thanks to a solid-state lidar without a turret, 21,000 Pa of suction, two spinning mop pads of which one extends along edges and which lift nine millimetres on carpet, an extending side brush, camera-based obstacle recognition and a station that empties the bin, washes the pads in 75-degree water and dries with hot air. The 6,400 mAh battery is among the largest; 65 decibels is quoted.
The low profile is the argument: under sofas and cabinets where a ten-centimetre turret cannot go. The extending pad and side brush are features that gave the tested Dreame models cleaner edges.
The limits: nine millimetres of lift is little for thick carpet, the station doses no detergent and has no water connection, thresholds stop at two centimetres and the pads do not stay behind in the station automatically. None of our test sources has measured this model, and in the Netherlands only one shop sells it; the T50 Omni Gen 3 with the same low build is sold more widely and is the version to compare with.
Based on the maker's specifications and our price data; none of our test sources has tested this model.
