What to expect from the Ecovacs Deebot X11 Pro Omni

The Ecovacs Deebot X11 Pro Omni is an all-in-one robot with the OZMO Roller 2.0: a roller mop that stays wet from a continuous water supply, rinses itself while it mops and reaches 1.5 centimetres further along skirting boards. It has 19,500 Pa of suction, TruePass climbing wheels for thresholds of up to 24 millimetres, and PowerBoost, which recharges the battery in short bursts while the robot washes its mop, so large homes can be done in one go. The station empties the bin for up to 90 days without manual emptying, washes the roller in water of up to 75 degrees and dries it with 63-degree air.

Vacuum Wars tested the X11 OmniCyclone, which pairs the same 19,500 Pa and roller mop with a bagless cyclone station, and logged some of the highest suction and airflow figures it has measured, with carpet deep-clean scores among its best. Those results belong to the OmniCyclone. The Pro Omni has its own station and has not been measured.

None of our test sources has measured the X11 Pro Omni. Our specifications list no battery or run time and do not say whether the station doses detergent, and at 98 millimetres the robot is on the tall side. Voice control works with Alexa and Google Assistant. Anyone who wants the X11's roller mop without the OmniCyclone's cyclone container, which has to be emptied by hand, has this version to consider.

Suction power19,500 Pa

Consumables: a 2.5 l dust bag in the station, which lasts up to 90 days.

Suction and brushes 2 facts
Suction power

Suction in pascal, as the maker measures it. More pascal helps on carpet, but it says little about how well the robot picks grit off a hard floor.

19,500 Pa
Extending side brush

The side brush swings out in a corner or along a kickboard, so the dust there is swept in too.

yes
Mopping 4 facts
Mop type

How the mop is built: flat pads, two spinning discs or a roller. Discs press harder on dried-on dirt, a roller rinses itself while it works.

roller mop
Mop lift on carpet

How far the robot lifts the mop when it drives onto a carpet. From about 10 mm a medium pile stays dry.

10 mm
Mop extends to the edges

The pad slides out along a wall or a kickboard, so the last few centimetres are mopped as well.

yes
Mop refreshed while mopping

The robot returns to the dock during a run to rinse the mop, instead of pushing dirty water around.

yes
Dock 9 facts
Empties the dust bin

The dock empties the robot’s dust bin, usually after every run. You only empty the dock’s bag or bin.

yes
Bagless

The dock collects dust in a bin instead of a disposable bag. No bags to buy, but you empty it yourself.

no
Dust bag capacity

How much the dust bag in the dock holds.

2.5 l
Dust bag lasts

How long the maker says a dust bag lasts with daily use. With pets or a lot of carpet it is shorter.

up to 90 days
Washes the mop

The dock washes the mop for you, so you do not rinse it by hand.

yes
Wash temperature

How hot the dock washes the mop. Above 60 °C grease comes off, which is what keeps a mop from smelling.

75 °C
Dries the mop

The dock dries the mop afterwards, so it does not sit there wet and start to smell.

yes
Hot-air drying

Drying is done with warm air instead of cold. It is faster and it helps against smell.

yes
Dispenses detergent

The dock mixes detergent into the water itself, from its own bottle.

yes
Navigation and obstacles 4 facts
Navigation

How the robot maps your home and follows that map. Lidar measures with a laser and works in the dark, a camera looks along and recognises more.

built-in LiDAR, no turret
Climbs thresholds up to

The highest threshold the robot takes, as the maker states it. Measure your own: the step into a bathroom or onto a balcony is often higher.

24 mm
Double threshold (two steps together)

Two steps close together, such as a threshold with a sliding-door track behind it: their combined height, as the maker measures it. Each brand measures with a different gap between the steps, so compare this figure across brands with care. For a single step, the threshold above applies.

40 mm
Climbing system for high thresholds

An extending leg or wheel that carries the robot over a high threshold. Without one it usually stops at about 2 cm.

yes
Robot 2 facts
Robot height

How tall the robot is. It decides whether it fits under your sofa, bed or cabinet.

9.8 cm
Dust bin in the robot

How much dust the robot holds before you empty it. It matters less with an auto-empty dock, which empties the bin after every run.

220 ml
Battery 1 fact
Runtime per charge

How long the robot cleans on one charge, at its quietest setting. After that it recharges and carries on where it stopped.

254 min
Smart features and warranty 1 fact
Voice assistants

Which voice assistants the robot works with, such as Google Assistant or Alexa.

Alexa, Google Assistant
