What testers say about the eufy L60 Hybrid SES

The eufy L60 Hybrid SES is the most complete version of the L60: the robot vacuum with lidar navigation and 5,000 Pa of suction, plus an auto-empty station and a detachable mop pad. Vacuum Wars bought the L60 and was surprised: the robot exceeded expectations and stood out above all for what it offers at its price.

In the carpet deep-clean test it scored in the top 10 of the nearly ninety robots the site had tested at the time, well above average and remarkable at this price level. The lidar mapped the home quickly and in detail, and navigation efficiency, in square metres per minute, was also top 10, among robots two to three times the price. The app is simple and complete, and per dollar spent the site calculated more points than for its favourite budget model, the Roomba 600 series.

The criticism concerns the battery: the quoted 120 minutes on the lowest setting is below average and on the medium setting half the charge was gone after 33 square metres, which works out at around 67 square metres per charge; recharge-and-resume covers it, but a large home takes several runs. The mop pad is a simple drag pad the robot does not lift, the station does not wash, and obstacle recognition is absent. For a smaller home that wants a lidar robot with an auto-empty station for little money, it is one of the sharpest choices.
