What to expect from the iRobot Roomba Combo 115
The iRobot Roomba Combo 115 is the new entry Roomba without a station: 15,000 Pa of suction, an anti-tangle brush, a washable microfibre mop pad with extra length for edges, whose arm extends, ClearView lidar that cleans in straight lines even in low light, and a low build of 78.9 millimetres at a width of 30 centimetres. According to iRobot it covers 83 square metres per charge.
The low, narrow size and the suction are unusual at this price, and the app lets you set a no-mop zone so rugs stay dry. For a small to medium-sized home with hard floors that is the offer.
The limits: you empty the bin and wash the pad yourself, the pad does not lift on carpet, obstacle recognition is absent and our specifications list no threshold height. None of our test sources has measured the 115; TechRadar tested the previous budget generation, the 205 DustCompactor, and saw undependable navigation and a buggy app, so preferably wait for a test. The 115+ is the same robot with an auto-empty station.
Based on the maker's specifications and our price data; none of our test sources has tested this model.
