What testers say about the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro
The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro succeeds the Qrevo Curv, with 25,000 Pa of suction, a retractable lidar that keeps it under eight centimetres, legs for thresholds up to four centimetres, two spinning mop pads that detach automatically and lift two centimetres on carpet, and a station that washes in boiling-hot water and dries with hot air. TechRadar tested it and calls it a powerhouse that excels on carpet in particular.
The reviewer praised the strong, effective suction and the impressive carpet performance, the rock-solid navigation, the retracting puck that takes it under low furniture, the stilts for tall thresholds and the excellent app. Mopping is, in TechRadar's view, decent for everyday use, and the split anti-tangle main brush and extending side brush come as standard.
The criticism: obstacle recognition of small items is merely average, spinning pads can smear large spills instead of picking them up, and the dock design is not to everyone's taste. The station does not dose detergent and the robot's own bin is small. For a home with lots of carpet, high thresholds and low furniture it is one of the strongest choices in the upper mid-range; anyone who often faces wet messes should look at a roller-mop model.
