What to expect from the Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Pro
The Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Pro is the Qrevo Edge 2 with an AdaptiLift chassis and a better station: 25,000 Pa of suction, two spinning mop pads with 12 newtons of downward pressure that stay behind in the station automatically, an extending mop pad and side brush, the dual anti-tangle system, a retractable lidar at 7.98 centimetres tall and camera-based obstacle recognition. The chassis lifts the robot for carpet up to three centimetres thick and thresholds up to four centimetres. The station washes in 100-degree water, dries with hot air, doses detergent and empties the bin into a 65-day bag.
The Qrevo Edge 2 it builds on has been measured by Vacuum Wars: 94 percent of the embedded sand out of carpet, the second-highest score ever, almost 90 percent of the pressed-in pet hair and nothing around the brush after the long-hair test; the site puts it in its top 10 as a strong all-rounder in the upper mid-range.
The criticism of the Edge 2, thresholds up to two centimetres and a station without detergent, is exactly what the Pro fixes on paper; what remains is the below-average obstacle recognition, the small onboard bin and a battery that lasts slightly shorter than average. A water-line connection is absent. None of our test sources has measured the Pro itself; anyone with tall thresholds and thick carpet gets the Edge 2 here with the missing pieces added.
