What to expect from the Roborock Qrevo Edge 5V1
The Roborock Qrevo Edge 5V1 is a version of the first Qrevo Edge: 18,500 Pa of suction, the dual anti-tangle system with DuoDivide main brush and FlexiArm side brush, two spinning mop pads of which one extends along edges and which lift a centimetre on carpet, camera-based obstacle recognition, a climbing chassis for thresholds up to four centimetres and lidar navigation at 98 millimetres tall. The station empties the bin into a 65-day bag, washes the pads in 75-degree water and dries them; 55 decibels is quoted.
The Qrevo Edge line is familiar from the tests of the Edge 2: Vacuum Wars measured 94 percent of the embedded sand out of carpet and almost 90 percent of the pressed-in pet hair there, and praised the low build and the climbing chassis. The 5V1 has the same suction as the Qrevo Curv, which three test sources recommend for its reliable navigation and the ease with which it takes tall thresholds.
The caveats according to the specifications: no hot-air drying, no detergent, no water connection, and with a fixed 98-millimetre turret it does not fit under the lowest furniture. None of our test sources has measured the 5V1 itself. Anyone with tall thresholds looking for a Roborock with a climbing chassis below the price of the Edge 2 Pro should compare this model with the Qrevo Curv.
Based on the maker's specifications and our price data; none of our test sources has tested this model.
