For anyone wanting a low robot that dodges nearly everything on the floor and looks after itself, without needing the latest suction figures, this is one of the most complete robots around, and often discounted since the Saros 20 arrived.

The Roborock Saros 10R is a flagship with an embedded lidar and no turret, keeping it under eight centimetres, two spinning mop pads of which one extends and which the robot can leave behind in the station, an extending anti-tangle side brush, and a station that washes in 80-degree water, dries with hot air and doses detergent. RTINGS names it the best robot vacuum overall; Vacuum Wars called it the best it had seen when it appeared.

Vacuum Wars measured a perfect 24 of 24 obstacles avoided, including the smallest objects most rivals miss, thanks to a camera with object recognition, a vertical light beam and a rear sensor. Nothing was wrapped around the split main brush after the long-hair test, pressed-in pet hair was picked up at 92 percent against an 80 average, and 80 percent of the embedded sand came out of the carpet. The pads lift on carpet and, for the first time on a Roborock, can stay in the station automatically, after which the robot collects them for the mopping run.

The reservations are small: the carpet score is good rather than the very best, the quoted 22,000 Pa of suction sits below the newer Saros 20, and the station is large.
