What testers say about the eufy Omni S2
The Eufy Omni S2 is Eufy's flagship with 30,000 Pa of suction, a split anti-tangle main brush, an extending side brush, a self-cleaning roller mop that lifts almost three centimetres on carpet, a lifting chassis and an embedded lidar without a turret. The station washes the roller in 60-degree water, dries with hot air, doses detergent, fast-charges and stores up to 68 days of dust. Vacuum Wars ranks it 5th of 20 and calls it a clear step up from the S1.
On carpet it lifted 87 percent of the embedded sand where the S1 got stuck at 61, pressed-in pet hair was picked up at more than 88 percent and nothing was on the brush after the long-hair test. Obstacle recognition was flawless with 24 of 24 objects avoided, also in the tougher version of the test. Sealed five-layer filtration keeps fine dust inside and the chassis lifts the robot on thick carpet.
The criticism targets mopping: dried stains scored 82 points against a 108 average, partly because of the sparing water output, disappointing for a roller. Route efficiency and estimated area per charge were also below average, it sometimes scattered fine debris on hard floors, it did not always clear a threshold of just over three centimetres and, despite the camera, there is no live view. For homes with plenty of carpet, pet hair and clutter it is one of the best vacuums; anyone mostly wanting to mop should look at a T90 or X12.
