What to expect from the iRobot Roomba Plus 675 Combo
For anyone with mostly hard floors and kitchen stains, that is the reason to look at this model.
The iRobot Roomba Plus 675 Combo sits between the Plus and Max lines: 30,000 Pa of suction with SealForce sealing, the self-cleaning PowerSpin mop roller that scrubs with 60-degree hot water and 15 newtons of downward pressure, SprayForce, which pre-sprays stains under high pressure before the roller passes over them, carpet detection that lifts the mop a centimetre, camera-based obstacle recognition, lidar navigation and thresholds up to 3.5 centimetres. The station empties the bin into a ninety-day bag, washes in 80-degree water, dries with hot air and doses detergent.
The pre-spraying is the distinguishing point: Ecovacs does something similar with FocusJet on the X12, and at Vacuum Wars that brand's roller mops consistently scored high on dried stains.
The caveats: none of our test sources has measured this model, the previous Roomba generation drew criticism for its app and obstacle recognition, the robot is not low at nearly ten centimetres, there is no water connection and in the Netherlands only one shop sells it. Compare it with the Max 775, which has the same suction and roller without the spray system, and with the tested Ecovacs T80 and T90.
