The MOVA P50 Pro Ultra is an all-in-one robot with two spinning mop pads, an extending side brush, a comb in the main brush that cuts hair loose, and a station that washes the pads in hot water, dries them with hot air, doses detergent and empties the bin into a bag of just over three litres. RTINGS names it the best mid-range robot; Vacuum Wars bought it as the successor to the award-winning P10 Pro Ultra and came away with a mixed verdict.
What the testers liked: mopping is a big step forward, with a dried-stain score well above the class average, and the pads can stay in the station for a vacuum-only run. Almost nothing stayed wrapped around the brush after the long-hair test, and the app is among the most polished according to Vacuum Wars, with maps per floor, a 3D view, zones and a built-in voice assistant. The station cleans its own washboard and lets you set how often it empties.
The criticism is about vacuuming: on the bench the P50 Pro Ultra came in below the cheaper P10 Pro Ultra and below the class average, and on carpet it underperformed. There is no water-line hookup. If you mainly mop hard floors and want a complete app, it fits; for lots of carpet the P10 Pro Ultra or a stronger vacuum is the better choice.

Runtime per charge200 min
Suction power19,000 Pa
Consumables: a 3.2 l dust bag in the station, which lasts up to 75 days.
Dimensionsrobot and dock
From the published dimensions. The robot passes under furniture with 11 cm of clearance or more. The dock needs a spot 42 cm wide and 46 cm deep.
Suction and brushes5 facts
Suction power
Suction in pascal, as the maker measures it. More pascal helps on carpet, but it says little about how well the robot picks grit off a hard floor.
19,000 Pa
Anti-tangle brush
A brush that guides hair to the side instead of letting it wind around the shaft. It saves the cutting work in homes with long hair or pets. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Extending side brush
The side brush swings out in a corner or along a kickboard, so the dust there is swept in too. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Suitable for pet hair
Whether the robot copes with pet hair: a brush that hair does not wind around and a dock that empties the bin for you. Where the maker does not say so itself, we read it from those two.
yes
Dirt detection
A sensor notices where more dirt lies, at the doormat for example, and the robot cleans that patch longer or a second time.
yes
Mopping6 facts
Mop type
How the mop is built: flat pads, two spinning discs or a roller. Discs press harder on dried-on dirt, a roller rinses itself while it works. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
spinning pads
Mop lift on carpet
How far the robot lifts the mop when it drives onto a carpet. From about 10 mm a medium pile stays dry. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
10 mm
Mop extends to the edges
The pad slides out along a wall or a kickboard, so the last few centimetres are mopped as well. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Automatic mop detach
The robot leaves the mop at the dock before it vacuums a carpet, so the carpet never gets wet. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Mop refreshed while mopping
The robot returns to the dock during a run to rinse the mop, instead of pushing dirty water around.
no
Water tank in the robot
How much clean water the robot carries. It sets how long it mops before a refill, which a dock does by itself.
80 ml
Dock13 facts
Empties the dust bin
The dock empties the robot’s dust bin, usually after every run. You only empty the dock’s bag or bin. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Bagless
The dock collects dust in a bin instead of a disposable bag. No bags to buy, but you empty it yourself.
no
Dust bag capacity
How much the dust bag in the dock holds. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
3.2 l
Dust bag lasts
How long the maker says a dust bag lasts with daily use. With pets or a lot of carpet it is shorter. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
up to 75 days
Washes the mop
The dock washes the mop for you, so you do not rinse it by hand. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Wash temperature
How hot the dock washes the mop. Above 60 °C grease comes off, which is what keeps a mop from smelling. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
75 °C
Dries the mop
The dock dries the mop afterwards, so it does not sit there wet and start to smell. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Hot-air drying
Drying is done with warm air instead of cold. It is faster and it helps against smell. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Dispenses detergent
The dock mixes detergent into the water itself, from its own bottle. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Plumbing hookup
The dock can be connected to the tap and the drain, so you never fill or empty a tank. It does need a connection nearby. On this model: the maker names this feature nowhere on the product page, so we take it as no.
no
Clean water tank
The clean water tank in the dock, which wets the mop.
4 l
Dirty water tank
The tank that catches the dirty water from the mop. You empty this one yourself.
3.5 l
Dock size (w × d × h)
The width, depth and height of the dock. Measure the spot you have in mind, and leave room for the lid and for the robot driving in.
42 × 45.8 × 47 cm
Navigation and obstacles6 facts
Navigation
How the robot maps your home and follows that map. Lidar measures with a laser and works in the dark, a camera looks along and recognises more. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
LiDAR turret
Obstacle avoidance
How the robot sees loose things on the floor, such as cables, socks or a pet accident. A camera with depth sensing sees more than a bumper that reacts on contact. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
AI camera
Climbs thresholds up to
The highest threshold the robot takes, as the maker states it. Measure your own: the step into a bathroom or onto a balcony is often higher. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
22 mm
Climbing system for high thresholds
An extending leg or wheel that carries the robot over a high threshold. Without one it usually stops at about 2 cm. On this model: the maker names this feature nowhere on the product page, so we take it as no.
no
Camera on board
Whether the robot has a camera, and what for: to recognise obstacles, or also to show you a live picture of your home in the app.
obstacle camera
Recharge and resume
When the battery runs low in the middle of a run, the robot recharges and then carries on where it stopped.
yes
Robot5 facts
Robot height
How tall the robot is. It decides whether it fits under your sofa, bed or cabinet.
10.4 cm
Robot diameter
How wide the robot is. Narrower gets between chair legs more easily, wider usually means a bigger dust bin.
35 cm
Robot weight
What the robot weighs. It counts most if you carry it up a staircase every day.
4 kg
Dust bin in the robot
How much dust the robot holds before you empty it. It matters less with an auto-empty dock, which empties the bin after every run. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
300 ml
Noise
The noise in decibels, in the setting its source names: makers mostly give the standard setting, shops often the highest. 65 dB is like a vacuum at half power, 55 dB like a conversation.
74 dB
Battery2 facts
Battery capacity
The capacity of the battery. It hints at the runtime, but how much the robot draws counts just as much. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
5,200 mAh
Runtime per charge
How long the robot cleans on one charge, at its quietest setting. After that it recharges and carries on where it stopped.
200 min
Smart features and warranty4 facts
Matter
Matter is the standard that lets devices from different makers work together. With it you can run the robot outside the maker’s own app. On this model: the maker names this feature nowhere on the product page, so we take it as no.
no
Voice assistants
Which voice assistants the robot works with, such as Google Assistant or Alexa. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri
Warranty
The warranty the maker gives in the Netherlands. Consumer law here stands apart from it and can last longer.
3 years
Scheduled runs
You set days and times, and the robot starts by itself, also when you are not at home.
