What to expect from the MOVA S70 Ultra Roller
The MOVA S70 Ultra Roller is the roller-mop flagship of Dreame's sister brand: a HydroForce roller rinsed with running water while mopping that extends along edges, an extending side brush, an AutoShield cover that shields the roller on carpet, 32,000 Pa of suction, the double CleanChop anti-tangle brush and a solid-state lidar without a turret, which keeps the robot at 90 millimetres. The station empties the bin into a five-litre bag for a hundred days, washes the roller in 100-degree water, dries with hot air and doses detergent.
The roller system is related to that of the Z60 Ultra Roller, which Vacuum Wars set against the Dreame Aqua10: both lifted 85 percent of the sand out of carpet and the Z60 came out of the long-hair test without a single wrap, with obstacle recognition the testers counted among its strengths. On paper the S70 Ultra adds more suction and a lower build.
The caveats: no climbing system, thresholds up to four centimetres, no water-line connection and 73 decibels at full power. The Z60 testers found bench suction unimpressive and saw more debris left in crevices; whether the S70 Ultra does better, none of our test sources has measured. Anyone after a roller mop with a hot-water station who does not need legs finds the most complete MOVA below the Z-series here.
Based on the maker's specifications and our price data; none of our test sources has tested this model.

When it matters
Rugs and carpets, where the robot should raise its suction.
Mopping in a home with rugs, which have to stay dry.
The robot notices when it drives onto a carpet. Most then raise their suction, and a mopping robot lifts its mop or leaves it at the dock.

Whether the robot copes with pet hair: a brush that hair does not wind around and a dock that empties the bin for you. Where the maker does not say so itself, we read it from those two.

Mopping6 facts
Mop type
When it matters
Homes with a lot of hard floor that you want mopped, not just wiped.
Dried-on dirt in a kitchen, which spinning pads or a roller scrub off better than a dragged cloth.
When it matters less
If you only vacuum, the mop’s build decides nothing.
The robot leaves the mop at the dock before it vacuums a carpet, so the carpet never gets wet. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.
no (assumed)
Mop refreshed while mopping
When it matters
Large hard floors, where a mop that is never rinsed spreads dirt around.
Kitchens with sticky spills.
When it matters less
In a small home the mop does not get dirty enough in one run for it to matter.
The robot returns to the dock during a run to rinse the mop, instead of pushing dirty water around. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.
no (assumed)
Water tank in the robot
When it matters
Large hard floors mopped in one go.
A robot whose dock does not refill it during a run.
When it matters less
With a dock that refills the robot during the run, the tank’s size hardly matters.

When it matters
Mopping several times a week, when rinsing pads by hand gets tiresome.

When it matters less
If you rarely mop, washing the pads by hand is little work.
