Cheap here means today’s lowest price at a shop that delivers to the Netherlands, delivery included. We read the prices again every day, so the order changes with them.
A low price says nothing about how well a robot cleans. So the models the tests rank come first, each with its place in our ranking from 5 test sources, and the rest follow below them.
The cheapest of each station type
The station is most of the price. An auto-empty station empties the dustbin for you, an all-in-one station washes the mop too. This is the cheapest of each today.

Is a cheap robot vacuum worth it?
It can be, in a small home with hard floors and few things on the floor. A cheap robot often drives in lines or at random instead of by a map, has no station and avoids fewer obstacles, so it suits a daily top-up clean more than a deep one. What do you give up on a cheap robot vacuum?
Mostly four things: navigation by laser or camera, which lets it clean room by room and carry on where it stopped, a station that empties the dustbin or washes the mop, obstacle avoidance that sees cables and socks, and a mop that lifts on rugs. Suction matters less than the price suggests: the brushes, the airflow and the route decide more.
