What to expect from the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2
The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 is the second generation of Dreame's mid-range robot with a washing station: 10,000 Pa of suction, two spinning mop pads of which one extends with MopExtend RoboSwing, pads that lift 10.5 millimetres on carpet, obstacle recognition with 3DAdapt structured light and a station that empties the bin into a 3.2-litre bag for 75 days, washes the pads, dries them with hot air, doses detergent and can be connected to the water line. The quoted run time is 240 minutes.
For its time this was a complete package: the extending mop arm that Vacuum Wars praised on the L20 Ultra for cleaner edges and skirting boards, combined with a station that does almost everything itself, for less than the L20.
The Gen 3 has since arrived with 25,000 Pa, an extending side brush and a lower price. The station washes without hot water and the robot has a fixed lidar turret. None of our test sources has measured the Gen 2; anyone who comes across it as leftover stock should compare the price with the Gen 3.
