How to tell a real Black Friday discount
- We compare today's price with what the same shop usually asked in the 30 days before: the middle one of its daily prices (the median). So a shop we started following later, or one that was always cheaper, does not count as a price drop.
- A deal is at least 5% and 10 € lower. Smaller moves are left out.
- Only shops we have followed for the whole 30 days, with a price on at least 20 of them.
- A shop's own struck-through price is checked on its own: if the shop asked less in the 30 days before its sale, it is no real discount. The price says so.

Not always. A struck-through “was” price is set by the shop itself. We call a price a deal only when it is at least 5% and 10 € below what the same shop usually asked in the 30 days before.
Should I buy now or wait for Black Friday?
If the model you want is here today with a real drop, waiting is a gamble: a price can go up again. If it is not, waiting costs nothing, and this page shows every morning whether it has dropped.
