Suction in pascal, as the maker measures it. More pascal helps on carpet, but it says little about how well the robot picks grit off a hard floor.

What testers say about the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete
The Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete is an all-in-one robot with a roller mop instead of pads: the roller is rinsed with clean water continuously while mopping, extends slightly towards the edge and gets a guard over it on carpet so the carpet stays dry. The station washes the roller in boiling-hot water, dries it with hot air, doses cleaning solution and empties the bin into a 3.2-litre bag; the Complete version adds the water-line hookup. Vacuum Wars tested the Aqua10 Ultra Roller, the same robot without the hookup kit, and calls it a top-five contender in most respects.
The testers praised the roller system, which handles wet messes better than spinning pads and keeps the mop cleaner, and the guard that covers the roller on carpet, which proved more reliable than lifting. A small auxiliary roller behind the mop keeps its fibres upright so it lasts longer. On carpet it lifted 86 percent of the embedded sand against a 76 average, and pressed-in pet hair was picked up at 93 percent. The extending side brush and the split main brush worked well along skirting boards.
The reservations: bench suction was below average, more was left in crevices than with rivals, and after the long-hair test half the hair was still wrapped around the brush, more than average. Vacuum Wars removed the model from its top 20 in late 2025 after a series of buyer complaints about water leaking from the station, something the testers did not see themselves. Anyone wanting a roller mop with a water line without paying flagship money should weigh that last point.
The robot notices when it drives onto a carpet. Most then raise their suction, and a mopping robot lifts its mop or leaves it at the dock.

Suitable for pet hair
When it matters
Dogs and cats that shed.
Long-haired pets, whose hair wraps around a brush.
When it matters less
Without pets, ordinary hair and dust need nothing special.

Whether the robot copes with pet hair: a brush that hair does not wind around and a dock that empties the bin for you. Where the maker does not say so itself, we read it from those two.
yes
Dirt detection
When it matters
Entrances and kitchens, where dirt gathers in one place.
Pets that leave hair in a favourite spot.
When it matters less
If dirt is spread evenly, a normal pass cleans it just as well.
How the mop is built: flat pads, two spinning discs or a roller. Discs press harder on dried-on dirt, a roller rinses itself while it works. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
The robot leaves the mop at the dock before it vacuums a carpet, so the carpet never gets wet. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.

Mop refreshed while mopping
When it matters
Large hard floors, where a mop that is never rinsed spreads dirt around.
Kitchens with sticky spills.
When it matters less
In a small home the mop does not get dirty enough in one run for it to matter.
The robot returns to the dock during a run to rinse the mop, instead of pushing dirty water around. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Water tank in the robot
When it matters
Large hard floors mopped in one go.
A robot whose dock does not refill it during a run.
When it matters less
With a dock that refills the robot during the run, the tank’s size hardly matters.
How long the maker says a dust bag lasts with daily use. With pets or a lot of carpet it is shorter. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.

Washes the mop
314 of the 397 models we track have this.
When it matters
Mopping several times a week, when rinsing pads by hand gets tiresome.
Kitchens and hallways, where a mop picks up a lot of dirt.
When it matters less
If you rarely mop, washing the pads by hand is little work.
How the robot sees loose things on the floor, such as cables, socks or a pet accident. A camera with depth sensing sees more than a bumper that reacts on contact.
Two steps close together, such as a threshold with a sliding-door track behind it: their combined height, as the maker measures it. Each brand measures with a different gap between the steps, so compare this figure across brands with care. For a single step, the threshold above applies.
An extending leg or wheel that carries the robot over a high threshold. Without one it usually stops at about 2 cm. On this model: derived from the threshold height the maker states.
yes
Camera on board
When it matters
Privacy, if you would rather not have a camera driving through your home.
Small things on the floor, which a camera sees better than lidar alone.
When it matters less
If the floor is tidied before each run, a camera adds little.

The noise in decibels, in the setting its source names: makers mostly give the standard setting, shops often the highest. 65 dB is like a vacuum at half power, 55 dB like a conversation.
