How the robot sees loose things on the floor, such as cables, socks or a pet accident. A camera with depth sensing sees more than a bumper that reacts on contact.
When it matters
Cables, socks and toys left on the floor.
Pets, whose accidents a robot should steer around.
When it matters less
In a home that is tidied before each run it matters less.
The noise in decibels, in the setting its source names: makers mostly give the standard setting, shops often the highest. 65 dB is like a vacuum at half power, 55 dB like a conversation.
When it matters
Cleaning while you work, sleep or watch TV at home.
Open-plan living spaces where sound carries.
When it matters less
When it runs while nobody is home the figure hardly matters.
Facts as the maker states them. A dash means the maker does not name it. Each model’s page gives the source of every fact. Noise is the maker’s own figure, so we do not judge it, and a customer rating only counts from 20 reviews. * Foreign shop: delivery cost and VAT to the Netherlands estimated.

What to expect from the Cecotec Conga Y70 Genesis
For anyone who mainly wants a lidar robot with an auto-empty station and a capable app for a home on several floors, it is an option, but set it beside a tested model with known figures.
The Cecotec Conga Y70 Genesis is a robot vacuum with an auto-empty station with a 3-litre bag. The robot navigates with lidar, stores maps of up to 4 floors and lets you clean room by room, set no-go zones and spot-clean in the app; by our specifications it also mops with a pad.
If it has to recharge halfway, it then carries on where it stopped; charging takes 5 hours. The app sets schedules.
Our specifications list no suction figure, run time, height or threshold height, nor an anti-tangle brush or obstacle recognition, so it is hard to compare on paper. None of our test sources has tested the Conga Y70.
Based on the maker's specifications and our price data; none of our test sources has tested this model.
Cecotec Conga Y70 Genesis specifications
The numbers that matter first, then every fact by group. As published by the maker or the shop we read it from.
The side brush swings out in a corner or along a kickboard, so the dust there is swept in too. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.
no (assumed)
Mopping4 facts
Mop type
When it matters
Homes with a lot of hard floor that you want mopped, not just wiped.
Dried-on dirt in a kitchen, which spinning pads or a roller scrub off better than a dragged cloth.
When it matters less
If you only vacuum, the mop’s build decides nothing.
How the mop is built: flat pads, two spinning discs or a roller. Discs press harder on dried-on dirt, a roller rinses itself while it works. On this model: seen on the product photo, not stated in the maker's text.
flat or vibrating pad
Mop extends to the edges
When it matters
Kitchens and hallways where dirt gathers along the kickboard.
Homes with many corners and table legs.
When it matters less
In open rooms the strip it leaves along the wall is small.
The pad slides out along a wall or a kickboard, so the last few centimetres are mopped as well. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.
The robot leaves the mop at the dock before it vacuums a carpet, so the carpet never gets wet. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.
no (assumed)
Mop refreshed while mopping
When it matters
Large hard floors, where a mop that is never rinsed spreads dirt around.
Kitchens with sticky spills.
When it matters less
In a small home the mop does not get dirty enough in one run for it to matter.
The robot returns to the dock during a run to rinse the mop, instead of pushing dirty water around. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.
no (assumed)
Dock4 facts
Empties the dust bin
When it matters
Pets, sand or a large home, which fill the bin every run.
Dust allergy, since you rarely touch the dust yourself.
When it matters less
In a small home with little dust, emptying the bin by hand takes a moment.
An extending leg or wheel that carries the robot over a high threshold. Without one it usually stops at about 2 cm. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.
no (assumed)
Multi-floor maps
When it matters
A home on two or three floors you carry the robot between.
Matter is the standard that lets devices from different makers work together. With it you can run the robot outside the maker’s own app. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.
no (assumed)
Scheduled runs
When it matters
Cleaning while you are at work or asleep.
A fixed routine, such as the kitchen after every dinner.
When it matters less
If you start it by hand each time, you will not miss it.
