What testers say about the Ecovacs Deebot X11 OmniCyclone
The Ecovacs Deebot X11 OmniCyclone was the first robot in a long time that Vacuum Wars tested with a bagless auto-empty station: the station sucks the bin empty into a removable cyclone container, washes the roller mop in hot water, dries it with hot air and tops the robot up by six percent in three minutes while washing. The roller rinses itself and extends along edges, the side brush extends for corners and a lift system raises the roller on carpet. Vacuum Wars ranks it 15th of 20.
The testers logged some of the highest suction and airflow figures they have ever measured, well over double the average, and remarked that this may be the best robot for pet hair they had tested so far. On hard floors and carpet debris of every size was picked up without trouble, and the deep-clean carpet scores were among the highest on record. The app offers maps per floor, a voice assistant and video, and the 6,400 mAh battery gives a quoted run time of 240 minutes.
The reservations: the onboard bin is small and the cyclone container in the station has to be emptied by hand about every five weeks, dustier work than dropping a bag in the bin. Thresholds stop at about 2.5 centimetres and at almost ten centimetres the robot is on the tall side. The X12 OmniCyclone with its pre-soak jets has since arrived; anyone finding the X11 discounted gets nearly the same vacuuming for less.

Ecovacs Deebot X11 OmniCyclone specifications
The numbers that matter first, then every fact by group. As published by the maker or the shop we read it from.
The side brush swings out in a corner or along a kickboard, so the dust there is swept in too. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.

Carpet detection
When it matters
Rugs and carpets, where the robot should raise its suction.
Mopping in a home with rugs, which have to stay dry.
The robot notices when it drives onto a carpet. Most then raise their suction, and a mopping robot lifts its mop or leaves it at the dock.

Suitable for pet hair
When it matters
Dogs and cats that shed.
Long-haired pets, whose hair wraps around a brush.
Without pets, ordinary hair and dust need nothing special.

Whether the robot copes with pet hair: a brush that hair does not wind around and a dock that empties the bin for you. Where the maker does not say so itself, we read it from those two.

Mop type
When it matters
Homes with a lot of hard floor that you want mopped, not just wiped.
Dried-on dirt in a kitchen, which spinning pads or a roller scrub off better than a dragged cloth.
If you only vacuum, the mop’s build decides nothing.
How the mop is built: flat pads, two spinning discs or a roller. Discs press harder on dried-on dirt, a roller rinses itself while it works. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
The robot leaves the mop at the dock before it vacuums a carpet, so the carpet never gets wet. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.
no (assumed)
Mop refreshed while mopping
When it matters
Large hard floors, where a mop that is never rinsed spreads dirt around.
Kitchens with sticky spills.
In a small home the mop does not get dirty enough in one run for it to matter.
The robot returns to the dock during a run to rinse the mop, instead of pushing dirty water around. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.

Water tank in the robot
When it matters
Large hard floors mopped in one go.
A robot whose dock does not refill it during a run.
With a dock that refills the robot during the run, the tank’s size hardly matters.
How long the maker says a dust bag lasts with daily use. With pets or a lot of carpet it is shorter. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.

Washes the mop
297 of the 378 models we track have this.
When it matters
Mopping several times a week, when rinsing pads by hand gets tiresome.
Kitchens and hallways, where a mop picks up a lot of dirt.
If you rarely mop, washing the pads by hand is little work.
How hot the dock washes the mop. Above 60 °C grease comes off, which is what keeps a mop from smelling. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
75 °C
Dries the mop
When it matters
Mopping often, since a damp mop in the dock starts to smell.
Humid rooms, where a mop dries slowly.
If you take the pads off and wash them yourself, you will not miss it.

An extending leg or wheel that carries the robot over a high threshold. Without one it usually stops at about 2 cm. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.

Camera on board
When it matters
Privacy, if you would rather not have a camera driving through your home.

If the floor is tidied before each run, a camera adds little.

In a home on one level with no drops it has nothing to guard.
The noise in decibels, in the setting its source names: makers mostly give the standard setting, shops often the highest. 65 dB is like a vacuum at half power, 55 dB like a conversation.
