What to expect from the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max
For anyone wanting the strongest suction, a roller mop and climbing legs in one robot, it is among the most capable models on paper, until a test confirms it.
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max is Xiaomi's flagship: 35,000 Pa of suction, a hair-cutting main brush with two anti-tangle side brushes, a roller mop that mops with running water and lifts 10 millimetres on carpet, and three arms that extend the side brush and the mop into corners and around table legs. Two mechanical legs lift it over single steps of up to 60 millimetres, and its lidar retracts to pass under low furniture, at 90 millimetres tall with the lidar lowered.
The omni station empties the bin into a bag that Xiaomi says lasts 75 days, washes the mop at 85 degrees and dries it with 50-degree hot air. Three AI cameras steer around obstacles, one doubles as a camera to look in on the home, and Xiaomi gives a 6,400 mAh battery, 4.5 hours to recharge and voice control through Google Assistant and Alexa.
None of our test sources has tested the 6 Max yet. Xiaomi names no detergent dosing or water hookup, and the station is 582 millimetres tall including its ramp.
