The Dreame L50s Pro Ultra is the refreshed version of the L50 Pro Ultra: 30,000 Pa of suction, the split HyperStream anti-tangle brush, two spinning mop pads of which one extends along edges, an extending side brush, pads that lift 14 millimetres on carpet and a station that empties the bin into a 3.2-litre bag, washes the pads in 100-degree water, dries with hot air and doses detergent.
The base is familiar: the L50 Pro Ultra ran for three months in a Vacuum Wars editor's home, with a map ready within minutes, floors that no longer felt gritty and a robot that rarely asked for attention. According to Dreame the s version mainly adds suction, plus EasyLeap for obstacles up to four centimetres.
What you give up against the X models: a fixed lidar turret just over ten centimetres tall, no climbing legs and no water-line connection without a separate kit. Full power is rated at 75 decibels, and the pads do not stay behind in the station automatically. Until a test source measures the s version itself, the experience with the L50 Pro Ultra is the best indication.
