How the robot sees loose things on the floor, such as cables, socks or a pet accident. A camera with depth sensing sees more than a bumper that reacts on contact.

What to expect from the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete
The MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete succeeds the Z60 Ultra Roller: a second-generation HydroForce roller mop that is rinsed while mopping and revives its fibres, extends along edges and goes under an AutoShield cover on carpet, 36,000 Pa of suction, the four-layer anti-tangle TroboWave brush, an extending side brush, obstacle recognition with 3D structured light and the StepMaster climbing system for thresholds up to 4.8 centimetres and obstacles up to 9. The station empties the bin into a four-litre bag for 125 days, washes in 100-degree water, dries with hot air and can be connected to the water line.
The Z60 Ultra Roller Complete it builds on was set against the Dreame Aqua10 by Vacuum Wars: 85 percent of the sand out of carpet, 87 percent of the pressed-in pet hair, not a single wrap after the long-hair test and obstacle recognition the testers counted among its strengths.
The criticism of the Z60, more debris in crevices than average and bench suction that did not impress, is still for the Z70 with its new motor to refute: none of our test sources has measured it. It is also notable that, according to our specifications, the station doses no detergent, that 72 decibels is quoted and that the price sits far above the Z60. Anyone wanting a roller mop with a climbing system should first compare the Z60 Ultra Roller Complete, which the testers did measure.
Based on the maker's specifications and our price data; none of our test sources has tested this model.
MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete specifications
The numbers that matter first, then every fact by group. As published by the maker or the shop we read it from.
The side brush swings out in a corner or along a kickboard, so the dust there is swept in too. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
Suitable for pet hair
When it matters
Dogs and cats that shed.
Long-haired pets, whose hair wraps around a brush.
Without pets, ordinary hair and dust need nothing special.
Source: derived, no source of its own · checked on 2 Oct
Whether the robot copes with pet hair: a brush that hair does not wind around and a dock that empties the bin for you. Where the maker does not say so itself, we read it from those two.
yes
Mopping6 facts
Mop type
When it matters
Homes with a lot of hard floor that you want mopped, not just wiped.
Dried-on dirt in a kitchen, which spinning pads or a roller scrub off better than a dragged cloth.
If you only vacuum, the mop’s build decides nothing.
How the mop is built: flat pads, two spinning discs or a roller. Discs press harder on dried-on dirt, a roller rinses itself while it works. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
The robot leaves the mop at the dock before it vacuums a carpet, so the carpet never gets wet. On this model: Assumed, not a stated fact: the maker's full specification does not name it, so we take it as no.
no (assumed)
Mop refreshed while mopping
When it matters
Large hard floors, where a mop that is never rinsed spreads dirt around.
Kitchens with sticky spills.
In a small home the mop does not get dirty enough in one run for it to matter.
How long the maker says a dust bag lasts with daily use. With pets or a lot of carpet it is shorter. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
up to 125 days
Washes the mop
297 of the 378 models we track have this.
When it matters
Mopping several times a week, when rinsing pads by hand gets tiresome.
Kitchens and hallways, where a mop picks up a lot of dirt.
If you rarely mop, washing the pads by hand is little work.
How the robot sees loose things on the floor, such as cables, socks or a pet accident. A camera with depth sensing sees more than a bumper that reacts on contact. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
Two steps close together, such as a threshold with a sliding-door track behind it: their combined height, as the maker measures it. Each brand measures with a different gap between the steps, so compare this figure across brands with care. For a single step, the threshold above applies.
An extending leg or wheel that carries the robot over a high threshold. Without one it usually stops at about 2 cm. On this model: from the maker's product text, not from a specification table.
yes
No-go zones
When it matters
Pet bowls, a play corner or a rug with tassels the robot should skip.
Places where it gets stuck, such as under a low chair.
In a clear home with nothing to avoid you will rarely use it.
The maker says the robot recognises a pet accident and drives around it, so it does not smear it across the floor. This is the maker’s claim, not a test of ours.

Frequently asked questions about the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete
1
Does the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete empty its own dust bin?
Yes. The station empties the robot’s dust bin after every run. The 4 l dust bag in the station lasts up to 125 days, the maker says.
2
Does the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete wash and dry its own mop?
Yes. The station washes the mop itself, with water at 100 °C. It then dries the mop with warm air.
3
Does the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete work with Alexa, Google Home or Siri?
It has a voice assistant of its own on board. Whether it also works with Alexa, Google Home or Siri, the maker does not say.
4
How high a threshold can the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete climb?
Thresholds up to 48 mm, the maker says. With its climbing system it also takes two steps close together, up to 90 mm in all. Measure your own thresholds: the ones to a bathroom or balcony are often higher.
5
Does the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete fit under low furniture?
The robot is 9.6 cm tall, so it fits under furniture with at least 10 cm of clearance. Its lidar turret retracts where space is tight.
6
Is the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete suitable for pet hair?
Yes, the maker says. The brush guides hair to the side instead of winding it round the roller. The maker says it also recognises a pet’s accident and drives round it.
