Facts as the maker states them. A dash means the maker does not name it. Each model’s page gives the source of every fact. Noise is the maker’s own figure, so we do not judge it, and a customer rating only counts from 20 reviews.
Score out of 10: 60% lab tests, 25% owners’ ratings at the shops that deliver to Germany, 15% the maker’s facts. Price does not count. Only models a lab has tested are ranked, and only models sold in Germany count. Method. Models no lab has tested yet, so they are not in our ranking. We do track their prices.
Only models rated at least 4 stars from at least 20 reviews at the shops that report customer ratings. Models with fewer reviews or without a rating fall outside this filter.

How we rank
Six rules every robot is ranked by
The same rules for every brand, every day. No brand or shop can pay its way up.
Tested, or not ranked
A robot enters the ranking only after a cleaning test. 101 have been tested so far.
Price never counts
A discount can’t lift a model. The price sits beside the score, checked every morning at 6 shops.
Cleaning weighs most
60% of the score is measured cleaning: carpet, pet hair, mopping, obstacles and navigation.
Owners and makers have a say
25% comes from owners’ star ratings at the shops that deliver to you, 15% from the facts the maker states.
Thin evidence counts less
The fewer tests behind a result, the more we pull it toward the average of its station type, so one lucky run can’t top the list.
Reviewers shown, not blended
The picks of RTINGS, TechRadar, Tom's Guide, Vacuum Wars and Wirecutter sit next to our score, so you can see where they agree.
4 tests, 4 different winners
The number one on the main list of each test we follow, and where that model stands in our ranking. Their picks are shown beside our score and do not count in it.
| Test | Their number one | With us |
|---|---|---|
| RTINGS ↗list as of 25 September 2026 | Roborock Saros 10R | rank 24 of 64 with an all-in-one station |
| TechRadar ↗list as of 25 September 2026 | Roborock Qrevo Curv | rank 25 of 64 with an all-in-one station |
| Tom's Guide ↗list as of 25 September 2026 | Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete | rank 1 of 64 with an all-in-one station |
| Vacuum Wars ↗list as of 26 September 2026 | MOVA V70 Ultra Complete | rank 16 of 64 with an all-in-one station |
The main list is a test’s overall top list, not its lists for a budget, pets or carpet, which we show too. The date is the day we last read the list.

Frequently asked questions
What does a good robot vacuum cost in Germany?
The models in our ranking run from about 111 € to 1,204 € today. A robot with an auto-empty station costs from 159 € today, one with an all-in-one station that also washes the mop from 289 €. We show the lowest verified price of the day per model, VAT and delivery included.
Is an all-in-one station worth the money?
It saves maintenance: the station empties the bin, washes the mop and dries it, often for weeks without you touching anything. You pay for that in money and in floor space, because such a station is large. With mostly hard floors and little room, an auto-empty station is enough.
What is the best robot vacuum for pet hair in 2026?
On 21 October 2026 the Roborock Saros 20 comes first: best for pets according to Tom's Guide, and number 19 of 101 in our ranking. Today it costs 949 € at Roborock (brand store). The Roborock Saros Z70 and the MOVA V70 Ultra Complete follow. 10 best robot vacuums for pet hair in Germany (2026)
What is the best robot vacuum for hard floors in 2026?
On 21 October 2026 the Roborock Saros 10R comes first: best for hard floors according to RTINGS, and number 27 of 101 in our ranking. Today it costs 699 € at Roborock (brand store). The Roborock Qrevo Curv and the MOVA P50 Pro Ultra follow. 10 best robot vacuums for hard floors in Germany (2026)
What is the best robot vacuum for carpet in 2026?
On 21 October 2026 the Roborock Saros 20 comes first: best for carpet according to TechRadar, and number 19 of 101 in our ranking. Today it costs 949 € at Roborock (brand store). The MOVA P50 Pro Ultra and the eufy C10 follow. 10 best robot vacuums for carpet in Germany (2026)
What is the best robot vacuum for high thresholds in 2026?
On 21 October 2026 the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete is the highest-placed robot vacuum for high thresholds in our ranking that you can buy in Germany today, for 1,499 € at Dreame (brand store). The Roborock Saros 20 Flow and the Narwal Freo 20 follow it in our ranking. 10 best robot vacuums for thresholds in Germany (2026)
What is the best low-profile robot vacuum in 2026?
On 21 October 2026 the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete is the highest-placed low-profile robot vacuum in our ranking that you can buy in Germany today, for 1,499 € at Dreame (brand store). The Roborock Qrevo CurvX and the Roborock Saros 20 Flow follow it in our ranking. 10 best low-profile robot vacuums in Germany (2026)
How often do you update the prices?
Every day, at every shop we follow. We read the prices from the shops’ own product feeds and web shops. We check them for errors and keep them, so every product page shows what a price did over the last 90 days. We only call a discount real when the price also sits below the level of the preceding 30 days. We link to Amazon too, but show no Amazon price until we read it through Amazon’s own API. Until then the price is on Amazon itself. Per shop: how and how often
What does suction in pascal mean?
Pascal is the pressure the robot can build, as the maker measures it. More pascal helps on carpet, but it says little about how well the robot lifts grit off a hard floor: the brush, the airflow and the route matter more there. That is why we lean on lab tests rather than on the number alone.
How does a robot vacuum work?
It drives through the house by itself and sweeps dirt with spinning brushes towards a suction inlet, which pulls it into a bin inside the robot. With a laser (LiDAR) or a camera it maps your home, so it works in lanes and knows where it has been. Sensors keep it off the stairs and steer it around obstacles. When the run is done or the battery runs low, it drives back to its station to charge. A station can also empty the bin and, as an all-in-one station, wash the mop.
How long does a robot vacuum last?
Years, if you look after it. Brushes, filters and mop pads wear and are replaced now and then, and the battery holds less charge over time and can be replaced on many models. How long exactly differs by model and by use. So when buying, look at the warranty too, and at whether parts and a new battery are sold separately. When the maker states a warranty, it is listed with the model’s specifications.
Where we check prices
We read prices every day at most shops, from their product feed or web shop. We check them for errors and keep them, so you can see what a price did over the last 90 days. We link to Amazon too, but show no Amazon price until we read it through Amazon’s own API. Until then the price is on Amazon itself.

Whose tests we use
The lab part of our score comes from the measured tests of Just A Dad Approved and Vacuum Wars.
Beside each model we also show where these testers place it in their own lists, without counting it in the score:
How we combine lab tests, owners’ ratings and facts into one score is on the method page.
